My Story
Get in touchHi! I'm grateful and overjoyed you found your way here. I thought I'd introduce myself :)
-
Sustainable consumption and hand crafted beauty is at the heart of my business. My mom taught me at a very young age that I could find treasures at any thrift, consignment, or antique store if I looked carefully enough. My siblings and I were always encouraged to keep old jewelry, material scraps, or toys to transform them into an amazing art project. (If you ask any of my old classmates or teachers, the Kilcullens' dioramas were on another level thanks to our mom).
-
I derive inspiration for this collection from years and years of listening to and watching my own mom, aunt, and grandmother create beauty from otherwise ordinary materials in their day to day world.
-
They are each entrepreneurs and artists in their own way. My mom is a multimedia artist. My aunt could be a full time interior designer but instead is a bada** CEO. My grandmother has a line of skincare. They have created and sold necklaces, bracelets, and broaches that were once old watches. Eventually, my mom taught my sister and I to make jewelry by hand, use a sewing machine, and so on...you get the picture.
-
I source vintage and vintage-inspired jewelry to honor the style of the past that keeps rearing its head in today's fashion. My handmade necklaces & bag charms always include beads, pearls, pendants, and charms from vintage or thrifted pieces I've sourced and deconstructed.
-
My goal is to fuse sustainable consumption with timeless style & artisan craftsmanship. My hope is that each piece will eventually have many stories to tell, the life it lived before I got my hands on it and the life you can give it!
